EXCITEMENT MOUNTS AS THE 6TH ANNUAL CELTIC WOMEN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE APPROACHES!!

Celtic Women International is still young, being only 7 years old - but already we have become a truly international organisation. For the first time outside of the USA - this years' conference celebrates the growth and diversity of the organisation. Those of you who have attended previous conferences will know that there is nothing to compare to the camaraderie and fulfilment of sharing your culture with others. The learning experience and opportunities to communicate are truly unique.

COME AND JOIN US!!!

See the complete schedule at www.celticwomentoronto.org/schedule.htm

HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS:
Hands-on workshops (in Classrooms 1 and 2) are included in your registration. If you are interested in one of the 'hands on' workshops you can sign up when you arrive - but to ensure a spot please contact us as soon as you register - only 20 spaces are available. E-mail workshops@celticwomen.org to guarantee a space.

MEMBERS CAN NOW SHARE INFORMATION

Some registrants have already contacted us about sharing accommodations with other CWI members. To facilitate this - we have established a YahooGroup called Celtic Women International. We are sending an invitation to join to all those in receipt of this bulletin. However it is a service for members - and if you would like to join you need to get your membership in CWI - you can do that here

The way a YahooGroup works is that anyone who sends an e-mail to the group has it automatically delivered to everyone else who has joined the group. It is free and no personal information is revealed without your consent. All mail is marked to and from celticwomeninternational@yahoogroups.com

You can choose how to receive your messages from YahooGoups: you can receive e-mail directly into your personal mailbox, you can receive a daily digest of all the messages together, or you can simply visit the website at and read the messages there.

It's easy to manage your messages. Most personal mailboxes have filters available so you can create a folder and have all messages that come from celticwomeninternational@yahoogroups.com go directly there.

If you join now - you can ask questions like 'who else might want to share a car to Toronto', or 'who might want to share a room'.

In the future we hope it will be an effective means for members to communicate with each other about topics of interest, and a way that we can all network.

You can read more about YahooGroups here

The group is private and secure and no-one will be able to access it without permission.

There have been some changes in the line-up:

Unfortunately Anita Best will not be able to make it. She is currently working with the government to set cultural policy and finds that she cannot take time away from this important work - she sends her regrets and hopes that she might be able to join us some time in the future.

Due to eye surgery Anne Marie Leonard will be unable to choreograph her special piece. There will, however, be a dance component to the concert and conference.

Poet Mary O'Malley and fiddler Brenda Stubbert will also be unable to attend.

If you have any questions about this year's conference just e-mail us at torontoconference@celticwomen.org
